In Freud’s lecture, he discusses the different stages of psychosexual development. There are 5 different stages, however, looking at the meme this is an example of the oral stage because the lack of satisfaction during the oral stages is what causes people to develop “Oral Fixation”. This becomes a habit because during the oral stage such as sucking the thumb, smoking or even biting your nails.
